The 90th Oscars are set to air live on ABC Sunday, March 4th, and what a year it has been for movies! From action films to the deepest love stories, the competition for big awards such as “best picture” will be a close race. Sources say that Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water will continue its award-winning streak, leading the pack with 13 nominations. “Dunkirk” follows behind with eight nominations and Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with seven. All three films earned best picture nominations. The rest of the category is rounded out by Call Me By Your Name, Darkest Hour, Get Out, Phantom Thread, Lady Bird, and The Post.
