Kids, adults, even teenagers can’t deny that the love of sledding never goes away. So, when you make the venture out this winter all bundled up in 10 different layers make sure that you are sledding at the best places in town. Here are some of the best sledding spots around Rochester!
Stay local! Penfield’s very own Ellison Park is home to some of the best sledding hills in town. Bring the family and friends out one weekend and have your share of great fun and exercise. Mendon Ponds Park
Being the largest park in Monroe County, Mendon Ponds Park has two sledding hills to explore. One across from the Cavalry House Lodge and the other next to the East and West lodges. Both worth a weekend snowy adventure to check out. Outside of the snow-covered hills, there are over 20 miles of marked trails for other winter activities. Not to mention lodges to rent, gardens, and boat launches (when the weather gets warmer). Such a wonderful park to have so close to our home. Check out their site for more information!
